On July 2nd I spotted this Florida tagged La Ferrari ( MC001 ) traveling North on Collins in Sunny Isles. The best part of this spot was yet to come because the driver pulled into a condo complex, and awaiting for him was ex Ferrari Formula driver Felipe Massa who owns this stunning in its own right F12 TDF. Felipe was wearing his currants f1 hat from Williams with his cars number 19. I am a huge Ferrari F1 fan and getting a chance to see Felipe up close and personal was worth every mile I do for spotting!

I am speechless West, this is truly a magical combo! Like think about it, what are the chances of seeing these cars together on a regular day? And meeting Felipe Massa to top all this... Well, I understand why you were so excited to upload this one! Well done my friend, absolutely stunning! I really hope when you upload the TDF, we will see a shot of Massa too. Congartulations on this one, I hope this summer will deliver some similar "big hits" for you!

Honestly, I don't know, what excites me more in this spot: the combo or the fact, that you met Felipe Massa, whom I really like. Again, those are true marvels of carspotting: you never know, what and who are you going to see. I admit, Rosso Fuoco looks stunning on LaFerrari. Stunning spot, West!

@Star080, Hi Vince I'm sorry you missed a chance to get shots of this car. I know how you feel believe me. Not so long ago I related to Nick ( NCspotter ) that on my last Florida trip I spotted a red La Ferrari with yellow calipers near Bal Harbour but was stuck at a traffic signal with no chance to go after it. I searched but could not locate her. I do hope that your Florida visit was a great one though?

@Rivitography, Hi Jason when I spotted this car I was on foot so I ran after her hoping that it would get stuck at a traffic signal in which it did thank God. I did get several shots before the signal changed, and to my surprise the car entered a condo complex. When I entered the driveway the car was just being parked, and to my astonishment there was the red TDF along with two valets. My main objective was to stay low key, and get as many shots as possible in case I was asked to leave private property. Thankfully I was not approached. When the car was finally parked the two men started talking Portuguese to each other. That's when I noticed that the guy doing the hand gestures was wearing a number #19 Team Williams F1 hat. He then walked passed me heading towards the entrance of the building. That's when I thought he looked like Felipe Massa. I then proceeded to get shots of the TDF, and when I read the tag it read FM19! That's when the light bulbs stated flashing In my head lol. Felipe Massa Car 19! So no sadly no words were exchanged but he did walk right by me, and I did get pics of his awesome car!

What an awesome spot and experience West, got some catching up to do when i look at your recent spots and uploads. But for you as a F1 fan it must be great to spot such a car with lot's of F1 technology and as a cherry on top to spot Felipe Massa.
Overhere everything going well buddy, health is doing fine, my new house is almost finished with everything and as usual busy at work.
