I found this 2005 Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG Kompressor Grand Edition parked on 5th Ave on 8/7/2021 (photos 2-4) and again on 6/25/2023 (photos 1 and 5-10). The Grand Edition was a special edition of the G550 and G55 made to commemorate the supposed end of the G-Wagons being exported to the United States. Of course, we now know that plan never came into fruition. Still, only 500 of these were produced and each one was numbered. The plaque can be found in the center console. In this case, this one is #31/500.
