June 2026 On the 23rd of June, I went to the cinema at Lingotto with one of my best friends, to watch latest Spielberg's movie: Disclosure Day (which I personally loved). As usual I first checked the two hotels of Lingotto and at the NH Lingotto Congress I bumped in this weird classic car on Dutch plates sitting on a trailer, the towing Range Rover had the driver's door open and the seat empty but there was a passenger inside so I asked him the permission to take pics, which was granted, I had just a couple minutes to take the pics I wanted before the driver of the Range Rover arrived and they left. The car which I only knew to be a Siata with a Zagato work ended up being a 1956 1 of 7 1250 GT Zagato, there are not many infos online about this car, but luckily the sale listing of this exact example says a lot about the story of this very rare model, which was made only to compete in the Mille Miglia original race. As I have no more space, I'll write more infos in the first comment.

I write here more infos about the car:
According to the stickers on the sides, the car took part to Vernasca Silver Flag, an event that ended two days before I spotted it and which is located at over 200 kilometers from Turin, between Castell'Arquato and Vernasca, in the province of Piacenza (Emilia-Romagna region).
As I said only 6-7 (please DON'T) Siata 1250s were made but it's actually difficult to understand how many had the Zagato body, according to some sites this could be a 1 of 1 "GTZ".

I forgot to mention that my guess about why the car was there, is that the Dutch owners likely decided to have a stop in one of the car's "birth cities" (Siata was from Turin but Zagato is from Milan) on their trip back to the Netherlands, I've been lucky to catch it just in time, I really hope it can stay on Autogespot!
In one of the links you can see the car was sold for 445.000 euros so surely not a cheap price. To make the links work you have to copy them and unite the https part with the rest, as I couldn't post them as a comment in other ways!

This trailer and this car is from the Netherlands, funny to see! This example was built in 1956. I know this from a Dutch website.
