Spotter Rivitography
Gespottet in Wilton (CT), United States of America

This is what I have chosen as Spot #1490. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this 1958 Pegaso Z-103 drive right past me in South Salem, New York on my way to school on 9/24/2017. I turned around and followed it for a good half an hour until I was finally able to get some decent pictures in Wilton, Connecticut. For those who don't know, Pegaso was a car company in Italy that produced very rare and exotic cars that carried lots of power with their dry-sump V8 engines that achieved speeds of up to 100 MPH (which was insane for the time) and hefty price tags. This one in particular, the Z-103, was so expensive to build that only 3 or 4 were ever produced before production ceased. I will put some more resources where you can learn more about this car and the Pegaso company in the comments section below. License plate: 1K·400 (CT)

Crazy find! Very rare with this bodywork made by Touring Superleggera! Far from his home country but still with original plates from Madrid. Awesome catch! Congrats.

Amazing spot of this very rare car! I didn't even know about it until now. The design reminds me a bit of a Mercedes-Benz 190SL/300SL.

You caught us coming back from an informal meet in south Salem. She is a 1958 Pegaso Z-103 touring berlinetta. It is the only berlinetta body produced for Pegaso by Touring. It is the last Pegaso sold. 3.2 liter 4 cam V-8 with 2 Weber 4v. Saw you snapping pics, wasn't sure how far you followed us, WRX behind us was running interference......too bad. Would have let you photograph the power plant.

@Rbradk thank you so much for the extra info! I was wondering what the WRX was doing as it was following you guys the entire way. I figured you guys were headed towards another meet somewhere but once I saw you guys turn down all of these windy roads I figured you guys were actually headed home and I didn't want to follow you to your house so I stopped in Bethel. I absolutely loved your car and I am so happy I found it!
