I've had this one saved up for a little while now. Spotted this GT3 RS pull into Dick's Sporting Goods at the Southpark Mall the same day I saw the 488 GTB (also in the same parking lot). Owned by a nice guy who was meeting one of his friends at the mall to take him for a spin. Even though I am not a huge fan of the 991 models, this looked very serious and sounded amazing as it drove off. Photobombed by my A6 in one of the pics. Also this is my 50th upload : )

@Horse-Power thanks West! There have been a couple other new GT3 RSs spotted around Charlotte, but this is the only one I've seen personally (yet). When I saw this in April, the owner told me that he took delivery of it about three months prior (which would be January) and had only put about 80 miles on it, so I feel pretty fortunate to have had the chance to spot it. The owner said he traded his Turbo S in on this and also has a Carrera of some sort (GTS I think) as his daily driver.

@NCspotter. I am still waiting to drive a RS, and to be honest the GT3 is so good that I cannot imagine that the RS version can be taken to a higher performance level. Since the engine bhp is the same it has to be downforce, and handling. I have driven a 991 Turbo S and that is just in one word Awesome. Have a great weekend Nick.

@Horse-Power Porsche has been perfecting their formula for so long now that they probably don't even know how to mess up. I hope you get to drive an RS soon, and I'm sure you'll have a blast when that time comes!

@NCspotter, Hi Nick, I finally had a chance to drive a 991 GT3 RS. Well actually two. One in this color, and the other in white! The white one had racing seats that literally fit me like a glove lol. The only thing that I did not like about both cars is that under hard acceleration from a standstill in 1st the power really does not kick in until revving it out to third. In fact the noise from the exhaust almost sounds like a wastegate from a turbo engine. A lot of air gets sucked into that side air take. The down force that this car produces is breathtaking. The cornering capabilities is astonishing. The wait was well worth it. Even though my time with both cars were not on a racetrack I still had a chance to feel some of this cars performance. Anyways brother I will drop you a message in a day or two. Spotting in Miami was just over the top. If you get the chance check out my post for tonight. ( Monday ) Well done once again on catching this super Porsche!

@Horse-Power I can only imagine what a riot that was! I did get to talk with the owner of this, and he was nice enough to leave me with a great soundtrack as he drove off. This is probably one of the best-sounding cars I've ever heard, although it might be harder to hear from inside. I still have not spotted another one of these, although there seem to be a lot of them around NC. I know of several in Charlotte, one of which is purple and another which is yellow. I did see your post, which was unbelievable, and I can't wait to see what else you managed to catch around Miami! Take care brother and I'll talk with you later.

@NCspotter Hi Nick, I have always related to you in the past on how great Miami is for car spotting. On this trip alone I have spotted and missed three different Aventador SV Roadsters due to heavy traffic. Each time traffic played a role in the miss. The 488's are now in abundance followed by the Huracan. It's almost like these types of cars are now mass produced. I spotted an old 308 today that just brought a huge smile to my face. Anyways brother today I finally caught a car that will never be called mass produced! She was spotted with that Chiron I caught a day ago. This two car combo has a combined top speed that I may never match in a spot again. I posted the shots up last night please let me know what you think if you get some free time! Talk with you soon my friend.

@Horse-Power I almost don't know what to say anymore! I haven't spotted a 488 GTB in well over a year and a half, and have only spotted one Aventador SV ever. I haven't seen any pre-360 Ferrari on the streets in well over two years. I guess that probably means when I do spot one, it'll be something epic! Anyway I just checked out your latest post, and it's insane!!!! It never fails to amaze me what you spot around Miami. I'll try to post something up before I leave for Charlotte again on Friday, and once again that combo spot is something truly unreal!!!
